scratch-resistant pop rivet tip covers for air rivet guns and most pro set tips. These are made to utilize the original metal tip while having the protection of the plastic to protect the surface from scraped and small dents.
We made these with one thing in mind and that's a cheap easy simple solution. \Just align the hex head up with the recessed hex on the tip and press them together.
They are designed to allow the metal tip to be recessed by .010-.020 allowing the fastener to sit flush on the metal tip and allowing the rivet to stick out farther than the plastic for great surface contact.
